Day 26 and Day 27~ South Coast Rock Tour

South Coast Rock Tour
~ Day 26 and Day 27 ~

New Orleans Farewell…Mississippi…Alabama…Pensacola, FL.

Sunday and Monday were full of people, places and things. It was hard to leave New Orleans, though I knew there were other mission fields that would ease my heartache of leaving those whom strong bonds had been formed. In the next two days, I fell in love with the bridges and ferries that took Tumbler and I over the clear creeks and blue oceans. I fell in love with the coastal locals who called the quaint towns their home and were friendly to this traveler. I fell in love with those who were homeless along the coast, but often possessed more faith than those with homes. I fell in love with the foliage of mossy trees and heart-shaped leaves tucked in the sandy landscape. And I fell deeper in love with the Lover of my soul as He held my hand each step of the way. I hadn’t expected to drive through Mississippi and Alabama so quickly, though there were pivotal stops along the way where people’s stories were collected and rocks were left in their hands. These were the highlights of these two beautiful days…

    wherever He leads you?”

Monday:

~ Drove to Mobile, Alabama
~ Parked and immediately met John the painter
    (amazing story)
